This Standard covers atmospheric thermal storage devices intended for but not limited to space heating and cooling applications, hot water distribution without coming into contact with potable water, pool heating, and snow melting applications and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.
This Standard does not cover products that come in contact with potable water
