This Standard covers flexible polyvinylchloride (PVC) gaskets intended to seal the joints betweenwater closets and urinals and sanitary drainage systems and specifies requirements formaterials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.
1.2 Gaskets covered by this Standard are ?sleeves? intended to be inserted into and compressagainst the inside diameter of the DWV pipe or water closet or urinal flange while attaching tothe plumbing fixture with an adhesive.
