This Standard covers ball valves in sizes NPS-⅛ to NPS-4, with rated working pressures of atleast 860 kPa (125 psi) at 23 ± 2°C (73 ± 4°F), intended for water supply systems and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.
